A busy day loaded with high points. The view of Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower. A cruise along the Seine. A stroll through the artists' quarter of Montmartre. And another climb, this time the Le Sacre-Coeur for a view of Paris. A hands on period will be spent in an artist's workshop, so you'll have a masterpiece to take home.

Today the tour discovers Bath, the site of Britain's only natural hot spring. Discovered in 860 BC by the Celtic King Bladud. The afternoon will be spent at Mill on the Brue.

Had a nice day today. Got to the city of Bath, but didn't get to see
the Roman baths. We left one leader in town -- Hillary, who teaches
Latin. I gave her my bottle to get water from the center of the baths.
Three hours after she'd gotten it and carried it in her purse, it was
still warm. Very cool.
It was good to talk to Mari tonight. I love the English countryside.
Somehow, someway, you and I need to come her for a few weeks and
explore. You'd like it a lot.

Finally the group reaches London, and starts by exploring the Science Museum. If time permits the National History Museum will be toured. The afternoon will be spent in pursuits at Covent Garden.

The group meets with a current or former member of Parliment. The Tower of London, the Crown jewels, and a cruise along the river Thames. The day's adventures continue into the evening when the group will take in a play in London's theater district.

Today the group visits the WWII Cabinet War Rooms, Buckingham Palace, a drama workshop at the London Theater Museum, and a ride on the London Eye - a 443 ft tall Ferris wheel.
